"Misleading Claims and Lousy Support"
Regrettably, we opted for AccuPOS when launching our new venture. We had a chat with Customer Service, who assured us about several features we wanted to incorporate into our shop. Initially, AccuPOS confirmed that these features were available and would function in our location, but later we were told that geo-location issues were the root of our troubles.
Right from the start, we let AccuPOS know that the system wasn’t delivering as promised after installation. Up to now, our system hasn’t been fully operational. We were told that a technician needed to complete a system upgrade. While we were on the line with the technician, the call dropped, leaving our POS stuck in Demo mode and unusable for the rest of the day. Despite our attempts, we couldn’t get in touch with AccuPOS that day.
AccuPOS encouraged us to buy an Android device to assist with one of the features we asked for, but after we made the purchase, we were told the software wasn’t quite ready yet. Our issues remained unresolved, and reaching Customer Service was always a hassle.
To top it all off, after detailing our issues from start to finish, we asked for a refund only to be told that the deadline had already passed.
DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID!

"No Satisfaction Here"
First off, AccuPOS began charging me monthly fees even before I got the computer I ordered to run their software. That should've been a red flag.
When my sleek Wintec unit arrived, complete with a customer display and a stylish white design, I was genuinely impressed. This was back in January 2021.
We dove into setting up the system, and I spent countless hours on the phone with their friendly support team, who even accessed my computer remotely to help. But we just couldn't get it to work.
It turns out my Sage50 software isn't compatible with AccuPOS, and I wasn't keen on shelling out a hefty annual fee to upgrade Sage50 for integration. This realization hit me in April 2021.
I sent the unit back to AccuPOS, and Canada Post confirmed it was delivered on April 23rd.
I've reached out to them multiple times, with my latest message today, September 3rd, 2021, requesting my refund. They owe me $2161 US. They mentioned a cheque would be sent out on June 16th.
Looks like I might have to get a lawyer involved next.

"Setting up AccuPOS ain't easy."
Here's what I'm looking for:
1. A detailed technical guide to help me configure maximum amounts, set up tables and orders, and handle sales tax, among other things.
2. I stumbled upon some outdated YouTube training videos from six years ago, but they’re not suitable for our team since the interface looks totally different now. We really need some fresh videos.
3. A chat option with the AccuPOS support team would be super helpful.

"Fantastic Tool for Business!"
This system has really simplified our work. We've been using it for more than a decade across various sites due to its user-friendliness and dependability. The way AccuPOS connects with Sage50 has made handling our accounts and overall finances a lot smoother. Sage50 was solid, but it had some recent updates and restrictions, so we switched to QuickBooks this past year, and the integration is even more straightforward and beneficial. We looked into other options, but most either have inventory issues or don’t support accounting integration, and when they do, they just don’t provide the same depth of information that AccuPOS can deliver. All in all, it’s a fantastic product that’s definitely worth the money.

"Software Never Functioned Right"
This software just never worked as it should. They had to rely on an old server to get it installed on my brand new computer, yet they wouldn’t provide the updated version I actually bought, even though I have the latest program. I’m always reaching out for tech support, but it’s like shouting into a void. I’ve had to keep on them to get any help, and after waiting another two weeks for a call to arrange service, they’ve gone and erased my support requests! It’s clear they had no plans to fix their lousy software! I’ve paid for tech support that I haven’t received at all. They refuse to refund my money. Seriously, steer clear of this system!!! It doesn’t do what they say it does!!! They’re total scammers!!!

"Awful System"
This system is just plain awful, it keeps freezing up and crashing, plus it won't handle credit card tips. ACU POS has been trying to fix this for more than a month with no luck. You’ll be waiting 1-2 hours for customer support to pick up the phone. Do yourself a favor and invest in a different system.

"Encountered a challenging issue we hadn't faced before..."
We stumbled upon a challenging issue that we hadn't encountered before because of a recent update from QuickBooks. This update messed with our ability to bring in sales from our POS system into QB. Mike and the team were unwavering and hardworking in their mission to resolve this, as it had completely halted our internal accounting processes. Big thanks to everyone at AccuPOS. I really appreciate you all as our POS provider.

"Unmatched Support Experience..."
I've never encountered customer service like this before. Regardless of the problem, the technician kept pushing through, even when I had thrown in the towel. She went above and beyond to ensure my point of sale was operational. Ultimately, she overcame every obstacle to guarantee my POS was functioning without a hitch.

"Ramon Santiago's Excellent Service"
Ramon was super efficient, really informative, and quite courteous. He was patient too! My issue got sorted out in a pretty decent timeframe. Before wrapping up the call, he made sure all checks and tests were done to confirm the system was working perfectly.

The customer support from Accus Pos while we were setting up and training was simply outstanding. I had zero problems getting my POS system ready quicker than the equipment was shipped to my office. The software is super flexible and can handle whatever you need it to.
